Nov 28/29, 2018 - Introducing Litters by Teo + Teddy (4) & Dee + Teddy (8)
12 kittens: 6 males and 6 females
Because they've been born so close to each other, they will be raised together by both
wonderfully collaborating moms

Dec 28 - "The cats are out of the bag"

What a difference a day makes! Babies are out and some very brave even trying to climb up - only it is awfully scary up there. He realizes that going up is easy but getting down is a completely different thing he will have to learn in the next few days :(

Dec 22

Starting to play with each other. Legs are still wobbly but some already trying to get out of the nest.
But most still feel that it is safer in the warm pile.

Still does not make too much sense photographing - just a blur - but I know that you're anxious to see them. This will be my most challenging project with these litters as with so many of them somebody is always moving and gets out of focus. And for videos it is too dark in the nest.

Dec 5-7

A week old - sweet dreams
As all first-time mothers, Lady D is reluctant to leave her happy dozen babies even for a minute. While the third time mom Teo takes it much easier and allows herself to stretch her legs away from them. In any case, all are well-fed and comfortable in one large pile.
